Join the Madrigal Choir of Binghamton for a community sing along of Handel’s “Messiah” parts II and III. Part II focuses on Christ’s suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension, culminating in the triumphant “Hallelujah” chorus. Part III centers on themes of redemption and eternal life, offering a more introspective and serene atmosphere. Whether in solo arias, ensemble movements, or grand choruses, singers will find each note and phrase imbued with emotion that captures the essence of these timeless compositions.
A chamber orchestra will accompany singers and soloists as they come together to celebrate the season of Easter. Invite a friend to share in the joy of singing with fellow musicians. Bring your own score or scores will be available. This event takes place Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Episcopal church, 44 Main St., Binghamton.
